Our EO Foundation team brings together over a century of experience in development, production, education, marketing, and distribution. We’ve come together from some of the biggest entertainment companies, including Nickelodeon, MTV, Paramount, and Webtoon, to tell heroic stories that inspire a culture of independence, civil discourse, and innovation.

Strategy & Operations

John Papola

Founder + CEO

John has led our always evolving organization for over a decade as CEO and creative director, overseeing many high-profile projects. He previously served as a creative executive at various Viacom brands, including MTV, Nickelodeon, and Spike.

Brooke Hibbard

Project Management Fellow

Brooke graduated from Florida Southern College in 2019, holding degrees in advertising, public relations, and marketing. Her previous experience includes working for a digital marketing agency, where she served as a project manager for small business clients. At EO, Brooke helps keep all of EO’s projects moving along efficiently.

Sonia McCarter

Operations Manager + Chief of Staff

Sonia managed operations for the prestigious Austin Film Festival and earned an Emmy for producing their successful PBS series, "On Story." In her roles as operations manager and chief of staff, Sonia keeps our creative team aligned and efficient.

Christian McGuigan

Chief of Strategy

Christian oversees content and corporate strategy for EO. He is an Emmy-nominated producer and founder and CEO of Sycamore Studios, and has previously served as the VP of Global Content Strategy at Omnicom's Porter Novelli and VP at Participant Media.

Ivy Karns

Partner Relations Director

Ivy is a dedicated high-dollar fundraiser and political activist with a lifelong commitment to advancing liberty. Born in Lebanon, her career boasts significant milestones, including roles as the Director of RandPAC and the Development Manager of Young Americans for Liberty.

Caitlin Richie

Development Associate

Born in Chicago, Caitlin has fully embraced the Lone Star State’s spirit of freedom. With a degree in political policy from Liberty University, she acquired years of experience in nonprofit management, government relations, and community engagement. At EO, Caitlin nurtures strong partner relationships in our Development team.

Production

Justin Bergeron

Head of Production

Justin has built digital-first content brands for organizations like Turner and Hasbro and has been at the forefront of new technology for two decades. As head of production, he maintains a commitment to elevating the quality of every piece of content we produce.

Nolan Pfeffinger

Associate Producer

Nolan graduated from Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts in 2012. Starting at EO as a member of the inaugural fellowship program, he has since advanced to his current role in which he manages the studio, maintains equipment, and lends all-around support to the production department.

Jessi Bennett

Producer + Audio Engineer

Jessi provides vital support to our production team and produces original stories for our channels. She also leads our sound engineering capabilities.

Tim Silfies

Executive Producer

Tim spent over a decade navigating the Wild West of cable news, show-running "The Independents" and "Kennedy" for Fox and producing documentaries for John Stossel. He later delved into on-air reporting in the business sector and developed shows for HGTV and YouTube.

Sam Holcomb

Production Fellow

Sam is a versatile professional with experience ranging from politics and business to film and media. In the past, he has worked in the US House of Representatives, helped found LuxUrban Hotels, and helped to produce dozens of independent films in Los Angeles. He brings these skillsets to his role with EO, using his diverse experience to support the cast and crew in all areas of production.

Lisa Versaci

Executive Producer

Lisa is an accomplished branded content producer with over a decade of experience at Nickelodeon before co-founding EO. Her talent for spotting opportunities and nurturing talent has been instrumental in building the EO team and launching feature film projects like "At The Fork.”

Post Production

Gavin Tatro

Senior Video Editor

Gavin has honed his editing skills for over 20 years at the highest levels of his craft. Resulting in many awards including multiple Lions at Cannes. His ability to unearth the essence of any story makes him a valuable member of the team.

Julia McElhenny

Editor

Julia supports all things post-production, from footage management to editing and delivering finished pieces. She graduated from Flagler College in 2019 with a background in documentary production and American Sign Language.

Ashley Garcia

Post Production Fellow

Ashley is a UT Austin graduate with a background in documentary work in both production and post-production. With her tech background in the Moody College of Communications alongside her film production work at the Austin Film Festival, Ashley strives to grow her post-production skills while delivering quality work.

Mac Foster

Chief Marketing Officer

Mac is a seasoned content brand marketer and producer with experience heading Webtoon's marketing and business development. He started his career as a producer at MTV and grew to leading Spike's marketing, digital and social media businesses as SVP of brand marketing.

Brian Behm

Art Director

With over 20 years of experience, including having built the initial design team at Rooster Teeth, Brian oversees the creation and implementation of visual brands and design components across all EO projects.

Ellie Lerma

Social Media Fellow

Ellie, a proud Texan and Texas A&M alumna, merges her passion for art and communication through authentic and vulnerable storytelling. She excels in delivering impactful messages that inspire positive transformation, creating compelling social media content and engaging large audiences across digital platforms.


David Raxa

Design Fellow

David is a San Francisco State University graduate with a background in visual, web, and UX design. His previous internship at TH Experiential involved creating numerous experiences for clients like McDonald’s and Sephora. As a designer, David continuously refines his design skills to craft exceptional experiences.

William Shaw

Marketing Coordinator

William Shaw, a 2021 graduate of Amherst College, joined EO as a member of the inaugural fellowship program and eventually found his place in the marketing department. Since then, he has focused on publishing, advertising, and helps with developing marketing assets.
